Telescope: A time machine

This interesting fact is about the universe.
We all know the light from the moon takes 1 second to reach the Earth. So every time we see the moon, we see the moon which was there one second ago. Now let's scale this up. We know that there are a few stars many million light years away from us. So every time we look at the star, we see what the star was, a million years ago.
Very recently, The Hubble Space Telescope spotted the oldest galaxy ever.
It is called GN- z11. It is 13.4 billion light years away meaning this galaxy was formed when the Earth wasn't even existing in the vast cosmos.
So every time you look at this galaxy through the telescope, you look 13.4 billion years back into time.
Let that sink in.
