Milky Way: How much do we have left of it?

One of the coolest facts about the cosmic world is that our Milky Way Galaxy is losing it's spiral structure. The Milky Way has lived two-thirds of it’s life time as a spiral structure.
Very soon, the Milky Way will merge with the closest galaxy to it — Andromeda.
This is expected to be one of the most beautiful events in space leading to collision and dancing of the stars. It's is also said that there will be no harm to any of the life forms.
But when I say very soon, it is definitely not in Earth Years. Soon relatively means in less than 4 billion years in spacetime.
