What if Earth stopped spinning?

I don't know about you, but I used to wonder "What if Earth stopped spinning?"....In this post I will write about the consequences....Instead of saying common stuff there will be no Day and Night, etc...I will be focusing way higher than that!

The Earth as we all know spins at just over 1000 MPH at the equator. So what if it suddenly stops?

Everything that isn't tied down would suddenly go flying eastward at more than 1000 MPH....Well, you can imagine what it feels like!

The momentum would send giant Tsunamis sweeping more than 17 miles inland in less than a minute!

An entire earth day would become 365 days long! That's 6 months of scorching sunshine, followed by 6 months of frigid night. The sun would now rise in the west...and set in the east just once a year...

Earth's spin creates a centrifugal force that causes a bulge at the equator. Though, over the time bulge will flatten out.

The oceans will migrate to the poles where gravity in the strongest creating a 2 super oceans and one giant continent in the middle.

The magnetic field would slowly fade away leaving the earth exposed to deadly cosmic rays...!

Leaving almost no chance for life to survive.
